Hamamelis x intermedia 'Jelena' (Witch Hazel) is a medium to large attractive, vase-shaped, deciduous shrub. Abundant flowering. Dense clusters of fragrant, frost tolerant, copper to orange flowers from mid to late winter. Green leaves emerge after flowers, turning yellow to red in autumn. Great for ornamental shrub, can be used for screening and/or hedging, also makes a beautiful specimen plant. Recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society.
