We can't easily provide advance notice of when orders will be ready to ship or collect. We are not like Amazon and most other online sellers that handle manufactured products stored on a warehouse shelf throughout the year. Our business is very seasonal.
Our products are grown in the ground for two years then dug up, washed, graded, trimmed and assembled by mid-winter ready for picking. By that point we already have several thousand orders from our customers.
It takes time to lift and process our stock as it does for our suppliers from whom we source a small portion of our range. We start picking and packing orders as soon as some stock is ready working as fast as weather and labour availability permit while aiming to process the earliest orders first.
If you are going to be away let us know when you will be back so we can avoid sending your order too early. Sorry, we cannot undertake to send orders before a specified date as there are too many unknowns.
