The Portugal Oak (Quercus lusitanica), is a medium-sized, spreading tree 15 metres tall x 10-12 metres spread. Native to Morocco, Portugal and southern Spain. Mediterranean origins make it suitable for SE Australian conditions of cold, wet winters and dry hot summers. Semi-evergreen in warmer regions.
