The large attractive Pin Oak (Quercus palustris) is a deciduous North American tree with stunning autumn foliage. The lower branches arch gracefully to the ground clothed in bright green glossy sharply-lobed leaves that turn vibrant reds and scarlets in autumn. Its pyramidal shape and fast growth make it an ideal tree for avenues, along driveways, and as a feature tree in large gardens, parks and paddocks.
