Regarded as an outstanding autumn foliage tree, Acer palmatum 'Osakazuki' starts the growing season with bright green foliage which turns an intense scarlet colour in autumn. Like many of the Japanese maples, A. Palmatum 'Osakazuki' retains its autumn foliage for several weeks before falling.
It will reach around 6 metres tall and wide with a tendency to form multiple stems. It can be trained to a single stem. An asset in large and small gardens alike, this cultivar holds its place well throughout the season before providing an outstanding autumn focal point. Suitable for partly shaded or full sun postions.
