MM.102 is a cross between Northern Spy x M.1, produced by the East Malling Research Station, which produces a tree between M.26 and M.7 depending on the soil types. Early trials found that MM.102 produced average crop of good sized fruit. Renewed interest has been generated in this stock due to its M.26 size response and resistance to Wooly Aphids passed on by its Northern Spy parentage.
*Plant growth is always influenced by climate, nutrition, water availability, scion vigour, etc, so height figures are always only a guide.
