Great in salads and lunch boxes and still grown widely in the USA. Hybrid of McIntosh x Delicious. Raised in 1945 at New York State Agricultural Experiment Station, Geneva, New York. It was named and introduced in 1966. Fruits have crisp flesh with a subacid and aromatic flavour.
