The Miss Satomi Dogwood (Cornus kousa 'Miss Satomi') is a sensational small garden tree/shrub. The upright spreading canopy has seasonal features of spring 'flowers' and autumnal foliage along horizontal branches. It is sometimes called Cornus kousa 'Satomi' or 'Rosabella'. It has very attractive dark pink flowers (what appear to be petals are in fact bracts) in late spring. The large leaves are deciduous turning a gorgeous purpley-red in autumn. Awarded the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (UK).
